Mar 20, 2023 · WINTER – December, January, February. Winter is low season in Santorini with most hotels, restaurants, and other businesses closed. This just really isn’t an ideal season to visit Santorini, and I wouldn’t recommend it. If you are here, you won’t be swimming in the pool or sea. Stick to warmer items like jeans, hoodies, or your windbreaker.
Sep 12, 2023 · Santorini is still buzzing and busy in September, and all restaurants, hotels, and shops are open. Because the island is less busy during this month, you won’t have to make reservations for most restaurants and bars. Although for restaurants with views or if you wish to sit on the terrace, I do still recommend you make a reservation.

Feb 1, 2023 · Santorini - in December, there seems to be only one ferry per day which takes about 5hours. We only had 1 full day and 2 half days in santorini, so opted to fly in and out from Athens to santorini. - flight itself takes one hour. Athens airport is efficient but we checked in 2hours early to be safe.

Golden Grill Santorini Home all day cafe mama meze La Scala (not sure it's open full time or not, might only be open for lunch when cruise ships are in port) There were more places open but these were the ones I ate at and really enjoyed. I also highly recommend watching the sunset at PK Cocktail Bar if anyone gets the chance.

1. Re: Santorini and mykonos in december- need help. Only a small handful of shops and restaurants will be open to serve the permanent populations. It will be cold and most likely wind, cloudy skies and rain. The sea will definitely be too cold for swimming. Upon rare occasions there might even be snow.

Nov 1, 2023 · Yes, it is possible to sunbathe in Madeira in Winter. As written earlier in December, January and February, the temperatures during the day at beach level are around 19/20°C. When the sun is out, because of the low latitude of the island, it is quite warm. However, the sun is never guaranteed and clouds come and go.
