Oct 28, 2016 · Usually occurs when cold humid weather (spring and autumn when around 0 degrees Celsius). Car suddenly goes into limp mode and gives several DTCs, ones which appear everytime are P062E from PCM, U0401 from 1-3 other control units and some other random codes. Had to stop and restart engine 5-20 times every 20 meters or idle 15min to fault go away.

Jan 24, 2022 · I own a 2012 Mondeo Mk4. It is a 2.0Tdci (140). i recently got the Engine Malfunction warning. On diagnostics it came up as a DPF regen failure. There has been no loss of power. The garage reset it and I took the car on a good motorway blast and stayed in 4th gear to keep the revs nice and high. About 2 weeks passed and the warning came back on.
